This simple through girder bridge crosses Deer Creek in Tama.
Still in use, the bridge features four through girder spans. These spans rest on stone substructures.
The middle pier of this bridge is constructed of concrete. This could be due to a flood which washed out the previous pier. The bridge was raised at some point as well.
In an overall good condition, the bridge still carries a significant amount of traffic.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common and simple design.
